    Matthew Rifat, an attorney, who owned Parkside Solutions, a bookkeeping service that specialized in working for medical practices, has been temporarily disbarred.   He worked for Dr. Munir Uwaydah’s Blue Oak Medical Group and pleaded guilty to PC section 549, which essentially means he didn’t investigate whether Blue Oak was committing insurance fraud.

    Matthew Rifat’s trial with the California Bar Trial Court has been continued from January 6th 2025 to whenever.  No new date yet.  Did his guilty admission plea to PC section 549 involve moral turpitude? 

    Matthew Rifat’s trial with the California Bar Trial Court will now not happen on January 6th 2025.  It has now been continued forward to an undecided date, at this time.     Attorney Matthew Rifat set for trial with the California Bar on Monday, January 6th 2025.   Hopefully, it coincides with the end of the line for the workers’ compensation claims fraud career of Dr. Munir Uwaydah.

    Matthew Rifat, who was awaiting trial to happen this month, gets all 70 charges dismissed or stricken from the Indictment RIF 1990022 in Riverside.  He pleads guilty to one count of PC 549 in a brand new Complaint. 

    On February 29th 2024, just last Thursday, defendant Matthew Rifat, who was indicted with Shannon Moore, Janek Hunt, and Dr. Munir Uwaydah on January 17th 2019 by the Riverside County District Attorney, had all the charges dismissed against him.  The case number is RIF 1990022.  There are 70 felony counts in that indictment.  The defendants...
